A 2014 alumna from Flagler College, with a BA in art and graphic design. Accepted into the BFA program through Flagler's Art & Design department, I immediately returned to receive my BFA in fine art, with a minor in illustration. The summer after my graduation I secured an opportunity to co-design wedding stationery, utilized my watercoloring skills to create a card line, and developed skills in product inventory, customer service and store maintenance.

While receiving my BFA, I was the chosen candidate for an internship within the art education department at the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, located in Jacksonville, Florida. During this time, I created and taught art lessons for children ages 5 - 10, assisted with outreach into the public school systems, and designed on-site signage, as well as a map of the museum used by docents. The experience that I gained during my internship enabled me to receive a part-time position at the Cummer, teaching children ages 6-12 on art featured in the museum.

My BFA concentration was in Scientific Illustration. Partnering with our newly developed Marine Biology program at Flagler College, the semester transformed into capturing marine specimens on local excursions in photographs, and the process of learning, developing and succeeding in drawing these creatures on large sheets of paper, which were critiqued through out the course. Ultimately, this led to the grand finale of three, six foot wide large scale graphite pencil drawings featured at the Crisp Ellert art museum. I was honored to be interviewed, filmed and featured on the home page of the Flagler College website in February 2015.

Upon finishing my BFA, I pushed myself to expand my knowledge outside the art & design realm; which turned into my current position as the Graphic Designer within the Marketing department for Carlisle Interconnect Technologies. I am currently pursuing my personal interest of various freelance works and teaching multi media art classes. I own two cats, Tigger and Scar, the ocean is my second home, and I love getting lost in art museums. I enjoy shrimp alfredo, tiramisu, playing Scrabble and exploring new places.
